The Hills Sessions
The Hills Sessions have been borne from a desire to supply families with a home away from home, if even for an hour.
I have many families who are renting, moving, building or renovating or they feel their house isn't something that they would like photographed but they still want family photos to immortalise stages throughout their children's childhoods. They want the feeling of a home for their images, that comfort, that coziness. So I have looked high and low and found a beautiful space where we can capture beautiful memories. We have access to the most wonderful interior design, (it's so welcoming and beautiful) and also the most divine outdoor spaces.
The sessions FOR FAMILIES will NOT be mini sessions, they will be full hour long sessions, shorter sessions just aren't my thing. There is a lot of pressure for everyone to "perform". I feel my work aligns with the slow and steady pace of having time on your side and also will allow us to get the most out of this most perfect location. There will be a gap of at least 30 minutes between each session if we do go over for whatever reason (so many variable when kids are involved), so there will be no need to hurry at all.
FOR MATERNITY OR MOTHERHOOD I am able to offer a shorter session of 30 minutes. This will allow you to receive a handful of really beautiful carefully curated images for you to treasure
I've fallen in love with this house and I hope all of you will too. It will be early March, so still lots of sun, but perhaps a cool evening which might allow for a cute little jumper or beanie to make it's way into the session. This place is made for kids in overalls, fun clothes that they feel good in, not too fussy, exploring the gardens and then maybe an indoor outfit to sit in that wonderful children's bedroom (wait til you see it). I will absolutely guide you , if you need, into making the best decisions re timing, re clothing and anything else you need.
These sessions will be wonderful and I hope will go ahead whatever the weather. However if some major weather event is predicted prior to the day a reschedule will be organised a couple of days prior and a new date will be booked asap. Unfortunately this location will not be available after the end or March, so if we are not able to reschedule in that time I will find an alternative location or a home session can be organised instead.
The Package
The session price will be $125 which will also be your deposit to hold your session.
Please note times will be limited, and changing your time may not be possible once you have booked in. Deposits will be non-refundable but if the sessions are cancelled by me, it will be replaced by a new date.
FAMILIES:
+ The midi session package includes 15 high resolution files (to be selected from your digital gallery) = $650 (a saving of approximately $300)
+ The full package includes all of your digital files and 3 matted 5x7 prints = $800 (This is a saving of approximately $500 from regular sessions)
(Gallery is a minimum of 30 images but usually quite a lot more)
MOTHERHOOD/MATERNITY:
+ The mini session package includes 5 high resolution files (to be selected from your digital gallery) = $375
+ The full package includes all of your digital files and 3 matted 5x7 prints = $500
(Gallery is a minimum of 20 images but usually quite a lot more)
