Newborn Photography

Newborn Photography for me is a mix of documentary and portraiture.

The way sessions unfold depends entirely on your family.

I am not a photographer that has a set of images that I repeat and shoot at every session, I like to make my sessions authentic to you.

They must be entirely you.

If your family has a few children and you have welcomed your newest, your session might take on a bit more of a documentary style approach, I have an eye for capturing the candid moments and love them with babies and their siblings. It's lovely to sit and see how things unfold and find the photographic gems within the chaos. When your newborn is the only baby in the family, the shoot is a little more quiet and calm. . We might need a bit more structure, but also make it real. We make real moments happen by walking, interacting and experimenting with light and locations throughout your home and probably add a little more portraiture into the mix.

My aim is to make you feel as comfortable and as possible. I want you to have the photos you dreamed of in your head. So share with me what you see. Share with me your visions.

I am not a photographer that wraps babies and styles them. That style of shooting just doesn't work for me, I aim to keep things much more flowing and free and shoot with whatever arises throughout the session. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me anything. I will send you a questionnaire on booking about details with your family, then when baby is born, before the session, we have another little chat about timing, locations and all the detail bits and more specifics about the session, again, if there is any specific questions you have, please feel free to ask.

Session Length: 60 - 90 minutes (at home or on location)

STEP ONE:

Shoot Fee $255

+ To be paid upon booking to secure your date and session.

+ This fee is non-refundable, but we can transfer to a new date in the event we need to postpone.

+ Once you're booked in, you will receive a questionnaire from me to help me work out what's most important to you for your session.

+ I will send you a little guide about how to best prepare. Hot tip - not much, it's just advice how to get the most out of your session and your kids!

STEP TWO:

The Session!

Once the session is completed you will receive your gallery of images in around 3-4 weeks.

You will receive a gallery link via email of your edited (and watermarked) images when they have been completed.

STEP THREE:

You choose your package:

+ Selection of 5 High Resolution Images for download - $500 (includes $50 of print credit and each image as a 5x7 print)

+ Selection of 10 High Resolution Images for download - $750 (includes $75 of print credit and each image as a 5x7 print)

+ Selection of 15 High Resolution Images for Download - $900 (includes $90 of print credit and each image as a 5x7 print)

+ Upgrade to ALL images for $1200 - the amount of images will be approximately 60+ ($100 print credit included )

You let me know what package you have chosen and I'll pop through the remaining invoice. If you are selecting images you will favourite your images via the gallery.

OR if you decide ON THE SESSION DAY that you will take the full gallery (prior to seeing everything) You will receive the full gallery for $1000 (plus session fee). This is saving of $200. xx

STEP FOUR:

+ Your image choices will be sent to you as high resolution files via your gallery.

+ The gallery has an on-line shop where you can use your print credit. Please note, you do not have to use the print shop to print your images. You can go anywhere as you will have the high resolution files. It is just set up to make everything easy and so that you're able to share the images with family.

STEP FIVE:

+ confirm your address with me and I'll pop through a little package for you when it's ready.
